Running HASS.Agent v2.2.0-beta4 on a Windows 11 PC .
I want to set up HA automation(s) that powers OFF a smartplug (that has my 4x monitors plugged in to) when my Windows 11 PC puts the monitors into Sleep Mode (set via the "Turn My Screen Off after" setting in Windows), and then power the smartplug up when Windows wakes the monitors up (eg because of a keyboard or mouse action). The objective is to save power when I'm not actually using my PC but leaving the PC running. (Note, this is not the PC Sleep or Hibernate mode, just the 4x Monitors go to sleep.)
To do this I am using HASS.Agent to send the value changes of sensor MontitorPowerState to HA Automations.
The first Automation reacts to the MontitorPowerState changing to PowerOff, and correctly turns OFF the smartplug.
The second Automation reacts to the MontitorPowerState changing to PowerOn and correctly turns ON the smartplug.
ISSUE: I am seeing that HASS.Agent sends a MontitorPowerState = PowerUp a regular exact number of minutes after sending a PowerOff. The number of minutes varies, but is always the same interval once the cycle has started.
For testing I have the Windows "Turn My Screen Off after" set to 1 minute . Result is:
*The same test repeated has had other intervals, but most common is 5 mins.
The actual screens also wakeup when the PowerOn packet is sent (not when the power is actually turned on by the smartplug as that takes a few seconds).
I tried exiting HASS.Agent on the PC (which did leave satellite service running), and the Monitors remained asleep for the same time period+.
So is HASS.Agent sending the PowerON message for some reason, (otherwise Windows would wake up even when HASS.Agent was shut down)?
