Domain purchased from Cloudflare stuck in pending DNS state (NXDOMAIN)

Hi, I purchased my domain directly from Cloudflare Registrar
The nameservers are already set to Cloudflare (*.ns.cloudflare.com), but the domain still returns NXDOMAIN and shows as pending / invalid nameservers in the dashboard.
Because of this:
- DNS records don’t resolve publicly
- Cloudflare Pages cannot attach the custom domain
- The dashboard keeps looping me to “update nameservers” even though they’re already correct
I’ve tried re-adding the domain and adding CNAME records for Pages, but the DNS zone itself doesn’t seem to be activated
Has anyone seen this before, or can this be escalated to have the DNS zone activated server-side?
