Cant install valorant

Ive been trying to install the riot client and it kept failing so i went to epic games and installed it through there. I was able to instas ll riot but when i tried to install valorant it just says "getting ready" and then a few seconds later just stops. Ive tried reinstalling and clearing cache but it doesnt work. Anyone know how to fix this?
