HEIC Images: Docs say supported, Fails Cloudflare dashboard & API

However, the API and web-baed interface for Cloudflare Images on the dashboard both fail to support HEIC image upload. API error messages seem to indicate it isn't a supported type.
Cloudflare error: [{"code":5455,"message":"Uploaded image must have image/jpeg, image/png, image/webp, image/gif or image/svg+xml content-type"}]
I'd really not have to create a dedicated serverside solution for HEIC images -- that's kinda the entire purpose behind using Cloudflare images & transformations to begin with!
