Bazzite deck image, steam performance overlay not working correctly

Hi, Just reinstalled Bazzite after a cpu/mobo/ram upgrade from an old inte skylake to ryzen 7000 (not on an handheld but an htpc).
A bit of introduction, you can skip it if you want.
I have to mention that I had to reinstall after the upgrade because the new motherboard was not detecting any entry in the boot menù, since games were on a secondary drive I reinstalled isntead of troubleshooting the existing installation. I am facing various issues after installation. Not sure if this is because of the hardware or some problem with the os. I am atually on the latest version of bazzite available at the 5th of January 2026.

One of the problems I am facing after reinstallation is that the steam performance overlay in gaming mode only works correctly if I boot the pc with it disabled, and I enable it after.
If I reboot with it enabled, it doesn't show anymore neither in games nor on steam itself. If I disable it again and reboot, then re-enable it after boot it works again.
Very strange behaviour I never faced before the upgrade with the old installation.
