Screen froze i guess?

Hi, what should i do when my screen froze for a lil too long like for 30 minutes before the game start for 3rd round? I went to toilet and afk for like 1-2 minutes before game start but when i came back it froze. I can't move my mouse, cant do anything rn. And then it's off the game immediately by itself but when i try to launch the game back on, nothing happens like the apps didn't pop out. I've been waiting for it to launch and open for like 15 minutes?
Must i restart my laptop every time this happens?
