Installation assistance with ASUS ROG Strix Scar Laptop

Friend is trying to switch over to Bazzite and they are completely new to Linux. I've tried to intervene as best I could, but I'm at a loss on what to do. During the installation process it's unable to detect any internal HDD. From what I read online, is that potentially the bios (raid) setting can be the source and cause (ACHI). Now I've dug into advanced mode, and I can't find anything. The laptop is very new, so I'm not sure if there are additional steps required or what else to make this work. They only want to run the Bazzite partitions and kill everything else, however, they are fearful they might do something that could brick the laptop. Really could use some insight and help from the community. Does anyone think a custom image might be beneficial as well?
