Riot Vanguard Freezing PC

Any time I have Riot vanguard open it will freeze my computer and require a hard restart. Even if I’m not playing Valorant and I’m playing another while vanguard is open in the background. I never had this problem until I got my new motherboard, and yes I installed the new up to date bios and that did nothing. Anyone having a similar problem?
