I've just installed Bazzite on an NVMe hard drive. I have a problem with monitor resolution, specifically EDID data not being read at all, and forcing custom EDID not helping either (black screen on correct resolution). So, my monitor is unrecognized and I'm stuck at 640x480 resolution. Replugging cables and reseating GPU change nothing.
kscreen-console commands throw this error: qt.qpa.services: Failed to register with host portal QDBusError("org.freedesktop.portal.Error.Failed", "Could not register app ID: App info not found for 'org.kde.kscreen-console'")
I've tried the custom-resolution-helper, that only got me up to 1024x768 from the 640x480.
After the custom-resolution-helper, I got more options appear to kscreen-doctor, but only 640x480 and 1024x768 options work. (see screenshot #2).
Previously I had an Nvidia GTX1080 with Manjaro running KDE Plasma on X and there wasn't a problem, but it appeared after switching to Wayland on Manjaro. After that I changed my graphics card to AMD RX9060 XT and installed Bazzite, and the problem is still there.
At this point I am tempted to just buy a brand new monitor to replace this 9yo one, could it fix this problem?
