ashauthentication with no auto sign-in
I am trying to build a simple process for the password strategy ( I have in mind to continue with an on-boarding process) but getting stuck and the very first step.
This is the flow I would like to follow:
1. users registers
2. no auto sign-in should occur
3. page or flash informs about the confirmation email
4. (mailer setup) this seems i got it
5. user reads email and confirms clicking on the link
6. this confirmation not only writes "confirmed_at" but also trigger some "post login" actions
6. user can finally login
I have tried auth_override and auth_controller changes trying to follow the documentation but I either get to the point I manage to avoid sign-in (nullifying require_confirmed_with) or start getting an invalid username or password (I have been testing few possibilities but always with negative results).
If there is a good soul that could shed some light I would appreciate
