Tweakeroo's Gamma Switcher Doesn't Work With Shaders

When using a shader through Iris, Tweakeroo's Gammer Switcher doesn't alter the gamma settings. This means I am unable to quickly switch to a brighter gamma setting when entering caves, then return it to normal when leaving (for example). The switcher works fine when shaders are disabled.
Is this an Iris issue, or a Tweakeroo issue? Are there any alternative solutions to what I want to do?
