help getting Spotify to inhibit sleep

apps like waterfox (firefox) prevent sleep just fine while media is playing but ig spotify devs are dumber than i thought and didnt bother preventing sleep on linux
whatever the case im not sure how to fix this, if maybe needed i do have spicetify to leverage
