Looking for recommendations for a winter/fall casual boot.

I’ve been wearing a pair of old Clark’s desert boots for almost 6 years now and they have worn fully out.
I know these are maybe outdated so looking for suggestions. I mostly just wear these with jeans/chinos
Budget : sub $400 USD. But preferably $300 range. I’m willing to be flexible if a good option comes up
Would strongly prefer not to buy second hand

I’m in the U.S.
Timing/urgency: not really urgent. Just something by next fall I guess since I can make do if need be
