Storage management issues with partitions

I've just bought a LeGO and it has 512 GB SSD of internal storage and a 512 GB SD card
On my SSD, I have Windows installed to run FH5 (and hopefully FH4) on the drive with remaining storage.
My goal was to install Bazzite on that SSD too with minimal storage taken. Which is why I've decided to grant 30GB of storage on the Bazzite partition.
However, now that it is setup, when I install my Steam games from Bazzite, I select my SD card but then it tells me that I have no storage left, from the Bazzite partition
Any ideas?
