So I can't remember having this problem a few days ago and I didn't fiddle with the DH settings too much (only basics like changing Render Distance and CPU load). I would really appreciate help in figuring out what the problem is.
Whenever I'm generating distant chunks from time to time (feels like every minute to three minutes on average) blocks I mined or placed re- or disappear as if I've never interacted with them. Sometimes it's a setback of not even a second and sometimes it's a few seconds. Definitely noticeable. I usually played on low impact CPU settings until now so I could play while simultaneously generating chunks without any issues aside from "low" fps in the 70-80 region on average. FPS wise nothing changed, it's just that somehow I now have to deal with tick rollbacks (if that's what they're called).
I also monitored the performance via Task Manager and noticed that when the tick rollbacks happen CPU usage absolutely plummets for a few seconds only to ramp back up after the lag finished. I'm playing solely in singleplayer.
I hope someone - anyone - can help me with this. If there's any more info needed I'll gladly share them.
