Hello hello, been sitting on this idea for a while but now that I cannot excessively spend on new clothes i thought it would be a good idea to make a fit doctor to see where I want to head with my wardrobe (selling off stuff, replacing pieces, etc) and finding a new overall outlook with fashion.
Ive been pretty comfortable with some configuration of my outfits with specific pieces (i.e. the baggy needles pants in half my fits) but i find when i venture out of my comfort zone with color outside of different shades of green and brown i feel like nothing works. This is also the case when i venture outside of my comfort zone of wider clothes. My wardrobe feel disjointed in the sense that there are things I want to work into more outfits but they always end up being bricked or feeling off. Maybe its a mix of buying too many statement pieces or not understanding how to layer them properly but id love to hear everyones thoughts on what would work for me to move into a direction with more color, volume and pattern.
Ive always been on the side of getting baggier clothes in part due to me liking the aesthetics of goopi, sillage, nanamica, etc, but a part of that came from insecurity in the past. Ive been a lot more confident in better fitting clothes but I find they dont mesh well with my pre existing wardrobe.
I find that the stuff i get excited by the most recently and the styles i want to pivot to are so outside my pre existing wardrobe or my price range im scratching my head on what to do next. Ill post some inspo a bit later as im closing up shop at my workplace but i will respond in time! Ty for reading!
