Single click acts like a double-click

question
Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my newly installed Linux Bazzite system (version 43). Previously, when I clicked once on a file, it would just select it. Now, after the new install, a single click behaves like a double-click and immediately opens or runs the file instead of just highlighting it.

I’d like to change this back so that a single click only selects the file, and a double-click opens it.

For context: I’m running Linux Bazzite with the GNOME interface.
Kernel: Linux 6.17.7-ba22.fc43.x86_64
Firmware: 2102
GNOME: 49

Does anyone know how to fix this behavior?

Thanks a lot!
