Can't get bazzite to install.

I've downloaded the bazzite-nvidia-open file and tried to install that version. The *bazzite live ISO leaves me with a black screen and a cursor (and i can switch desktops if i move my mouse to the top left corner). When i try the Bazzite live ISO (basic graphics mode) i get bazzite to sort of launch. When i try to install it to my harddisk i'm met with this error.
I've also tried the bazzite-nvidia-open Legacy ISO, but that one also gives me an error and tells me that the check has failed and that i should not install it.
What can i do in order to install bazzite? I've installed mint before and that worked pretty much flawlessly, but bazzite is giving me a real headache. I've currently split my SSD into 2 partitions because i can't afford a second SSD at the moment due to the price hikes.
