I've been playing Rocket League on my Macbook M1 (Sequoia OS) using GPTK 2 - it works beautifully and I have no issues with it. Last night, I tried to install a mod called Bakkesmod (it has custom workshop maps + other additions, very popular) but ran into a brick wall.
I'll try to summarize where I'm at (used Google LLM):
- I downloaded the engine file called bakkesmod.exe from Github (latest version is from Dec '25)
- When I try to run the script before launch, I don't see a button called "Wait for script to finish" which I guess is an option?
- As a workaround, I selected bakkesmod.exe for the "Select an alternative EXE to run" option
- When I did this, the bakkesmod window did pop up which is good. The problem is I can't hit play again to start the actual game.
After this, I tried making a wrapper script and that didn't work, it was just stuck in Launching and nothing happened. This is my first time messing with this sort of thing (terminal etc.) so I'm sure there's a critical flaw in here somewhere.
