Black screen - Desktop mode

Hey guys. Bit of a weird one, Ive had bazzite running on a personal console setup for a year or so with minimal dramas. I’ve just finished assembling a full AMD based system for a friend and I’ve encountered an issue swapping from game mode to desktop mode. Games and everything in game mode work perfect but when selecting desktop mode the screen goes black. I noticed that if I swap the HDMI cable to a DP cable the image will work. Has anyone had experience with this sort of issue before? I’m probably going to do a full reinstall to rule out an install error but any additional thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
