Linear acceleration software

question
Greetings,
I'm new on Bazzite and Linux, so I must learn everything, but so far so good, I'm happy with it.
On Windows, I used Raw Accel to have a linear mouse acceleration (I use a trackball). As it is not available on Linux, I'm looking for an alternative
I tried to install Gnarus Maccel but it must create Rules in my scr repertory, which is not possible on Bazzite as it's read only. I tried to have it into /etc/udev/rules.d but didn't manage to make it work
If you have suggestions about what I can do or use, I would gladly read you
Have a nice day
