Maybe a PSU problem?

Hello there, earlier I was streaming and then suddenly my pc cut off. My fans stopped spinning and the screen went black, my ram rgb and motherboard rgb light were still active tho. I went to feel my psu and that thing was HOT to the touch, I heard that they can run hot which is normal but I feel like it being so hot you can’t even touch it is not normal. Now I have 2 theories of potential issues, it’s either my psu is just getting old and needs replacing or it’s my case which has the power supply mounted at the top rear of the case above the cpu cooler and might be drawing in hot air from the case. I felt my streaming PCs psu and it was cold to the touch, of course I wasn’t doing anything too intensive for it to heat up like that except streaming. Idk how I could go about testing if it’s my case or power supply.
