I want to get darkish, chestnut-type brown penny loafers from smooth leather that are more in the American style with a wide rounded toebox and beefy rolls than the pointy foot-crushers popular here. Budget up to let's say 150e. The RL Alstons fit the bill almost perfectly except for the price, so you could say I'm asking for substitutes for that.
