How do I get ProtonVPN with split tunneling working on Bazzite?

I've tried the Flatpak, and it doesn't have the feature. I know from my laptop running Fedora that the ProtonVPN installed with these instructions https://protonvpn.com/support/official-linux-vpn-fedora/ includes it, so on my desktop I've tried both exporting it from a Fedora distrobox and
