Hoi
I have some newbie questions bc I'm not sure I've understood how recipes and ostree work
I'm a bit lost on a few things
First, drivers, I have an Nvidia gpu and I'm not sure which scripts or base image to use that could help keep them updated, since, I assume, updating them with a package manager will not be possible unless it's done during a rebase or installation
Second: Do all images that use recent fedora versions come with Wayland installed, do they not and I should add dnf install Wayland in a recipe or do they not but it will get installed as a dependency?
Third, installing desktop tools: login screens, (something to make the screen shut down and the computer log off after some time, I'm honestly not sure what that kinda software is called), compositors, toolbars, widgets, anything that isn't a standalone gui or cli application. Do they have to be installed at build time, if so, does the order matter?
Forth: in case I need to use a manual build script (I'm also a massive noob at this so I'm probably making wrong assumptions, if this question makes no sense just tell me to read up more on the topic), how would I update the software I built to a newer version?
Fifth: if I don't want to use some of the tools included in the base image, is there a safe way to remove them? I know the dnf module can do it but idk if it can break things or if it can't remove some tools (I assume it can't remove anything installed with other package managers)
Thank you in advance ^^
