Help setting up on unRAID

Hi, just recently followed the offical docker compose guide and it seems to have gone very smoothly. However, ALL the immich data is being written to the array and nothing is staying in the appdata folder on my cache drive.
I set the UPLOAD_LOCATION in the ENV variables as /mnt/user/Images/Immich which is does put pictures correctly, but it puts ALL the files there with the exception of the Postgres DB. I would like to have the thumbnails and other server related files on my NVME cache drive for speed. And so I could easily backup the appdata
I have had some help in the unRAID subreddit, and people claim that I should be able to have it separate, but no one seems to have a solution on what I did wrong..
