Situation #1 - the default IDEX parking positions are over the oozeguards.
1. This prevents loading and purging filament as the nozzle is pressed into the rubber pad.
2. This prevents unloading as the filament cannot first extrude a bit before unloading.
Request #1 - how can I change the parking position so that parking over the oozeguards happens ONLY during an active dual extrusion print? I would like the nozzle to normally park inboard of the oozeguards, in the air space between the side of the bed and the oozeguards. My apologies for not having macro expertise but I don't.
Situation #2 - Automatic Resuming of Print after reloading filament after a filament runout - with Orbiter Smart Sensor (OSS)
1. After the printer pauses and parks the nozzle (over the oozeguard), new filament is fed in. The OSS detects the filament at the sensor, automatically spins the extruder a bit and resumes the print.
2. The print is resumed regardless of whether the filament was successfully loaded and purged. It's usually 50% likely that it reloads properly in my case.
Request #2
How can I disable the print from automatically resuming after it sends the reload/extrude command? I want it to stay paused until I have manually loaded, unloaded, purged, whatever to my satisfaction, and then I can hit PLAY or RESUME or whatever to continue with the print.
