Nothing happens when clicking (Run installer first)

I tried multiple EXEs, and I can't seem to get heroic games launcher to start Run the installer before opening the exe file.
I think the problem is related to selecting the exe file itself. As when I browse the exe nothing is filled in the text location.
Note: I'm using Version 2.18.1
