Legion Go S desktop sleep controller problem

Using the Legion Go S and in desktop mode, every time the screen turns off or goes to sleep, the internal controller stops working when it’s turned back on. When I look in the steam controller settings the internal controller isn’t even detected. Only fixed by restarting the device.
