How to read past notifications from Heroic?

This might be a stupid noob question but Heroic previously showed an indicator that it had three notifications (I think there was a little thing on the application's icon on the taskbar) but when I clicked the Heroic window the indicator disappeared and I couldn't find where to go to see the notifications. And so now they're just...gone? Where can I go to see them again?
I can open the log file but I dunno what terms to search for it.
For context: New-ish Linux user (coming from Windows), ran Heroic and connected my GOG account to it. I'll probably have other questions later, likely related to Comet and GOG achievements and cloud saves.

Solution
heroic sends the notification to the OS, if you can see the log of notifications or not depends on your OS if it shows that, it's not something controlled by heroic
though I guess some way of having a list of past notifications could be useful as a built-in feature
