I need help understanding some things about videos on a mobile (responsive) webpage...
How do the pixels on my iPhone 11 Pro Max (and iPhone 15 Pro Max) translate to a mobile webpage? (Apparently iPhones "retina" displays - with many more pixels than a regular display.)
Apple says my iPhone 11 Pro Max has 2688‑by-1242‑pixel resolution at 458 ppi.
Questions:
1.) What are the approximate dimensions (in pixels) of a webpage on a smartphone screen? (My limited research shows sizes like 360px, 375px, 415px, and 430px)
2.) Not understanding how my iPhone 11 Pro Max (2688 x 1242) or iPhone 15 Pro Max (2796 x 1290) pixel counts relate to the above mobile web page widths.
3.) How does all of this relate to video?
4.) What resolution should I be shooting video at if I want to display it on a mobile web page?
All of these questions relate to a.) Trying to understand the web development part, but also b.) Trying to figure out what resolution to shoot/edit my videos at.
Am looking to host my own videos, and I don't want to run up a large bill shooting/editing videos that are larger than they need to be for mobile - if that makes sense?
Thanks!
