SDDM hanging at login?

I have an issue that just cropped up where I can’t login to a graphical user session. When I get to the SDDM screen, I login, it makes the login noise, but then either hangs at that screen, or the screen goes black and hangs there. Typically with an unresponsive mouse cursor.
I can access a terminal login to the system.
ujust get-logs hangs, so that’s nice.
Any ideas where to start debugging this?
My first instinct is that config files have changed with the update, but I am not sure how to check. The system was literally running fine before the reboot.
