[CSS] Trying to make table seperators while using a grid

so i have this table (doing this with wp & generatepress theme/generateblocks plugin)

    align-items: center;
    column-gap: 1rem;
    display: grid;
    grid-template-columns: repeat(2,minmax(0,1fr));
    justify-content: center;
    justify-items: center;
    row-gap: 4rem;
    padding: 1rem;
}

    display: grid;
    grid-template-columns: repeat(2,minmax(0,1fr));

the issue is that to make it look like a table, with seperators and stuff, i'm having issues with that since the border approach doesn't work since i'll just put borders around the content

column-rule didn't work for me at all.
