brand new installation, kernel appears to not be found

i have literally just installed a fresh copy of the iso for my machine (bazzite nvidia open for an asus tuf gaming a15 from 2022 with an rtx 2050 and a ryzen cpu) and it appears to not have even installed properly, i let the installation process go and it said it finished with no issues whatsoever
