Valorant ping issues

I noticed a day or three before the new update that my ping was way higher than normal, I’m based in Michigan so I live closer to Illinois and i noticed that I’m getting routes through Virginia lately. My ISP is xfinity/comcast and I haven’t heard back from them. Does anyone know if it’s temporary or experiencing the same issue? Idk if any riot members are able to reach out to Xfinity/Comcast
