Adding photos from a folder into an album. Photos already imported via external library.

I've searched around a bit and havent had any luck finding a solution. I have a load of photos that are already imported into immich through an external library that I'd like to add to an album (and any future ones uploaded to that folder). As mentioned the photos I'm talking about are all in a specific folder, but I can't find an easy way to add them to an album or collection aside from finding and selecting them individually. It's a few thousand that I've uploaded tonight.
