Hogwarts Legacy : "Please use the Epic launcher to start the game. Connection to the Internet.."

When trying to launch Hogwarts Legacy downloaded from Epic games, I get the following error : "Please use the Epic launcher to start the game. Connection to the Internet is required."
I've tried using all three - Crossover 25 , Wine-crossover and GPTK. They all gave the same error.
I've also tried using the env variable : "USE_FAKE_EPIC_EXE : 0 "
