Upgrading to 2026.1.30
Subject: CLI broken after upgrading to 2026.1.30 — missing discoverAuthStorage export from pi-coding-agent
Environment:
• Clawdbot version: 2026.1.30
• Node: v25.4.0
• macOS 26.2 (arm64)
• @mariozechner/pi-coding-agent: 0.50.7
Issue:
After pulling latest (commit ad943bd8c), all CLI commands fail with:
SyntaxError: The requested module '@mariozechner/pi-coding-agent' does not provide an export named 'discoverAuthStorage'
at src/media-understanding/providers/image.js:2
Affected: All CLI commands (clawdbot doctor, clawdbot --version, clawdbot gateway start/stop/restart, etc.)
Not affected: Running gateway (if started before upgrade)
Root cause:
Commit 08ed62852 ("chore: update deps and pi model discovery") imports discoverAuthStorage from @mariozechner/pi-coding-agent, but the published version (0.50.7) doesn't export this symbol.
Workaround: Don't restart the gateway until fixed. If needed, run gateway directly: node dist/gateway/index.js
Request: Either bump pi-coding-agent to a version that exports discoverAuthStorage, or revert the import until the dependency publishes the new API.
