Audio Constantly Goes Out of Sync

We use the DJI Mic 3 because there is two of us.
Our main camera is an FX30 connected to an Elgato Cam Link.
I have been plugging the DJI Mic 3 receiver into the FX30 and sending the audio into the camera, which then brings it through the Cam Link into OBS.
I think this may be causing the audio to go out of sync.
If I deactivate and reactivate the source in OBS the audio is back in sync, but will go out of sync over time.
Have I just been doing this wrong the whole time?
Should I be plugging the DJI Mic 3 receiver into the laptop instead?
Only thing is the laptop has a combo jack (mic/headphones)
Can I plug the DJI Mic 3 receiver into a combo jack and capture the audio directly in OBS, bypassing the Cam Link?
