My screen turns black whenever i play on fullscreen

what the tittle says, this happens so far in PEAK and state of decay 2.
In peak whenever i open the menu or inventory for a small microsecond the screen turns black or begins blinking but usually goes back to normal and the game runs well, meanwhile in STD2 its a worse case since trying to run the game on fullscreen just causes a blackscreen that only goes away by opening the main menu, although it works on borderless and windowed like normal
I would like to say more but thats about it and perhaps its a driver issues but im not an expert in that kind of stuff, its annoying since fullscreen in different resolution would be nice but it is what it is. Any help is appreciated
