Is there a way to access `payload` object when receiving notifications in the frontend?

I have tried using:

but we do not receive payload property which can be used to customize things a bit more. Is there a clean way to get the custom data i.e.

property that we send when triggering workflows? I have attached the JSON structure with redacted data for reference.

Also, I noticed that there's this

type (see attached screenshot) but it is not received in the notification object.
