Cloudflare-registered domain stuck showing “Invalid nameservers” after disappearing from account
📙DNS🌐Registrar👤Account✅Solved
Hi all, looking for guidance or confirmation on a registrar-side issue.
I have a domain (compoundtown.me) that is registered directly with Cloudflare. Yesterday evening the domain briefly disappeared from my Cloudflare account. After it reappeared, it has been stuck showing “Invalid nameservers”.
Cloudflare is still confirmed as the registrar. I have already: - Removed the site from Cloudflare - Re-added the domain - Selected the Free plan - Verified registrar ownership
Despite this, the zone never becomes active and DNS cannot become authoritative. No DNS records can resolve, and the dashboard consistently reports Invalid nameservers.
I’ve opened a Registrar support ticket, but wanted to ask here: Is this a known registrar DNS zone desynchronization that requires an internal rebind by Registrar Ops, or is there anything else that can be done from the UI?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Cloudflare is the registrar, so nameservers are auto-managed. The issue appears to be registrar zone binding rather than DNS config.
