Mouse and keyboard issues in game

So basically i want to play goat simulator 3 with my mouse and keyboard (laptop) but for some reason the ui is locked in controller mode (no mouse/ keyboard options) and the mouse doesn't show up in the menu. The game works, the keyboard can input things and i can move and the mouse works in the menus (just isn't visible) but the camera won't move
