custom system sounds

question

How do i install a custom system sounds pack that i installed from kde store? I tried pasting the folder on

/usr/share/sounds/

/usr/share/sounds/

, but it says that i don´t have the permission to do so. I then tried to paste it on

~/.local/share/sounds

~/.local/share/sounds

, but that path doesn´t exist.

Solution

you don't have to create a ~ folder,
~ in linux terminology stands for your home directory, so it would be /home/YOURUSERNAME
