Bringing files from Windows to Bazzite - which file format for USB?

I've checked the knowledgebase but can't seem to find an answer to this question. I can see that exFAT and NTFS are both unsupported for gaming, but I want to put some files from my Windows install onto a USB drive, install Bazzite, and copy those files over. Is this possible using NTFS or exFAT, and if not, how do I migrate these files from Windows to Bazzite?
