Volume control on minisforum v3

Ive been really happy with my v3 with Ryzen™ 7 8840U it performs almost exactly like the z1e (i know they are basically the same chip 8840u just has extra ai stuff)
Anyways when i qant to turn the volume down nothing happens till it goes to 0 and theres just no sound... so its basically just an on off switch. 100 -10% = 100% volume 0 = 0
Has anyone found a fix for this?
