So far, it's only the BBC News website and BBC iPlayer that seems to have issues with some of the videos they host. I haven't had time to thoroughly check other news websites.
Could the package from Mozilla be corrupt? I've tried (without success):
- uninstalling and reinstalling within Bazaar - uninstalling within Bazaar, and then installing via terminal with "flatpak install flathub org.mozilla.firefox"
Does Bazzite strip codecs from the base image which might affect videos from specific sources or news outlets?
FYI, a quick one-video test on Disney+, Netflix, CNN, and Bloomberg, all played okay ... but, as mentioned above, so do some of the other videos on the BBC.
I'm eager to ensure (as much as possible) that my future desktop/laptop OS platforms can at least do the basics accurately and correctly.
