Unable to Boot into Game Mode. Black Screen.

I'm unable to boot into game mode on my Asus Tuf Gaming A16 7700S. After a while it'll boot into the desktop mode. Steam also keeps requiring me to sign in every time it opens. I've tried resetting steam and changing which GPU it uses.
