Upload using cli to match uploads from android app

Hell Guys
I"m trying to upload a large folder containing video files on my S20 Note to my Unraid NAS. It takes forever so i"m wondering if I upload the files to Unriad and import them via the immich-cli will the Android app see these as duplicates, and consequently, see them as already uploaded?
