Elite Dangerous Launcher skipped

The Epic Games Launcher doesn't install the latest version of that game, it installs "legacy horizons" (even on Windows). But on Windows I was able to correct that in the elite dangerous launcher, but Heroic seems to skip the launcher by default (the window opens but directly launches the game).
